What’s new in Shoppy: Q2 2022

What’s new in Shoppy since the last update? The answer is: so many things! In recent months we have been working to improve the app and add many useful functions. You will be able to target your push notifications even more, allow recurring purchases, add notes at checkout: keep reading the article to find out all the new features!

Klaviyo πŸ‘₯

Klaviyo comes to Shoppy, starting today, by activating the integration, you will be able to send push notifications using as targets the audiences you have created and are already using on Klaviyo.
You will only have to set up the integration and Shoppy will do the rest. You will find the list of Klaviyo audiences in the “Engage” tab when creating a new push notification.

Recharge πŸ›

With Recharge integration you can allow your users to buy products on a recurring basis. Configure how often to deliver your products and any discounts to apply when they are purchased in this manner. Your choices will automatically be synchronized between your online shop and your Shoppy app.

Related products πŸ›’

You can choose to show related products directly on a product page in your Shoppy App. Related products are automatically selected by Shopify based on purchases and user behavior in your shop. You can see more information about how related products are chosen here.

Widget and media size πŸ“

Would you like to not choose a preset aspect ratio but use the size you prefer? Starting today, you can! We have added a new option: you will no longer be forced to choose the preset aspect ratio, but you can choose to have the images displayed in their original size.

Improved 'Single product' widget πŸš€

There are already plenty of widgets available on Shoppy, and with each release, we strive to improve them and make them more customizable! With this new update, entering the “Single Product” widget will no longer show the first product in the selected collection, but you will be able to select the exact product to be displayed. Do you have a flagship product? Now you have a chance to highlight it and exploit its full potential.

Notes in checkout πŸ“„

You will be able to allow your users to add notes to their purchases, at checkout. You can use the notes to gather particular information about how to prepare or ship your order.

Improvement of UX/UI πŸ–Œ

Your Shoppy App is constantly improving, so we have made small, but important, improvements to the UX/UI of the whole app. One of the important revisions is related to the ‘Address Entry’ form. The checkout time is the most important time for a store, as if it turns out to be long or complicated the user may abandon the cart without completing the purchase. We have simplified and made the form more intuitive so as to avoid this frequent problem.
